San Cosme Autumn Colors 🍁

Hello everyone! What’s up? 😎 

First and second grade students are turning into color experts. Taking into account that the school project of this year is the Galician patrimony why not beginning from what is just around us.

Last week, taking advantage of the good weather we have had here in Mazaricos, we came out to the playground to check out which are the autumn colors in nature. All the students came out with the same conclusion:

• yellow: like the sun and the corn ☀️ 🌽 
• green: like the grass and the leafs 🌿 
• brown: like the trunks, leafs and the chestnuts.
• blue: like the sky and the rain. 
• grey: like the sky and the clouds. 

We wanted to keep a record of our finds and so we draw the things we see in each color. Then, we do an exhibition in the English class. All of you are invited to enjoy it but, in case you are not able to, we will let you some pictures of the process:

Ola a todo o mundo! Cómo estades? 😎 

O alumnado de 1º e 2º están a converterse en expertos das cores. Tendo en conta que o proxecto do cole deste ano é o patrimonio de Galicia que mellor maneira que empezar finándonos no que temos ao noso redor. 

A semana pasada, aproveitando o bo tempo que fixo en Mazaricos, saímos ao patio para comprobar qué cores eran características do outono. Todos e todas chegaron á mesma conclusión:

• amarelo: coma o sol e o millo ☀️ 🌽 
• verde: coma a herba e as follas 🌿 
• marrón: coma os troncos, as follas e as castañas 🪵 🍁 🌰 
• azul: coma o ceo e a chuvia 💦
• gris: coma as nubes 

Queríamos deixar pegada dos nosos descubrimentos así que debuxamos as cousas que vimos en cada color. Depois, expusemos os nossos trabalhos na aula de inglés. Podedes pasar a velos cando queirades pero, por se isto non é posible, deixámosvos arriba unhas fotos do proceso.
